Theatre 2020
I wanted to do a thing called ‘Shows i’ve Seen in 2019’ but it’s 2020 now so the cool name doesn’t work anymore. I’m keeping a note of the live theatrical experiences i’ve had this year.
Mean Girls
When: January 21st
Where: James M. Nederlander Theatre - Chicago
1st national tour of the new Broadway hit, included a lot of cast who performed in the original. A fantastic show, I already new the music well but it was still an epic experience.
Moon Over Buffalo
When: February 2nd
Where: Palace Theatre, Wisconsin Dells.
Popular dinner theatre in the dells.
The Lion King
When: February 11th
Where: Edinburgh Playhouse
It was the second UK and Ireland tour of the Lion King, the tour was launched to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the musicals residency at London's Lyceum Theatre.
Note- The character of Nala was replaced by the standby mid show due to injury.
Peter Pan Goes Wrong
When: February 14th
Where: Edinburgh Festival Theater
It was the second UK tour of the show, we had an understudy on for the character of Denis.
