Do You Know Your Unparliamentary Language?

February 26, 2019 by Chris Quilietti in Lifestyle

As well as not being allowed to wear armour in the chamber, there are other rules about conduct in the Houses Of Parliament.

During debates in the House Of Commons, there are standards imposed upon the language used by elected representatives as our MP’s are supposed to be held to a higher standard when it comes to discourse.

As the British parliament is one of the oldest in the world, this list of prohibited words and phrases is both extensive and odd. But how well do you know it?

The idea for this quiz came unashamedly from an episode of Podlitical that you should absolutely subscribe to if you want to be kept up to speed with all things Holyrood and Westminster.

Wonka Review - A Bad Musical Wrapped in a Good Film

I can review the film in one sentence. Wonka is a great, feel-good, family film, but it’s not a good musical.

Enjoy that? Me too, subscribe to TGG email!
